Each seller provides an email address when they upload a new advertisement. We don't give out these email addresses for privacy reasons but you can send an email to them using a form we provide. When you look at a board ad, there is a panel on the right that allows you to email the seller. If the seller has included any contact phone numbers they are listed under 'Seller Details' section of the ad.
Well thats great to hear, congratulations! Now you probably don't want people calling you about a board you have already sold, so it's time to take down your ad. Log into your account by clicking on the 'Members' button in the main menu and enter your login details. Click on 'View Your Ads' to see a list of all your current ads. To remove a board, click on the 'Delete' button next to it. See you next time!
If you would like to sell a board, first step is registering. Once you have registered, log into your account by clicking on the 'Members' link in the main menu at the top of the page. From the Members page, you can create new ads, edit your personal information and view statistics on your current ads.

The home page has a section on the right called 'Recent Boards', and yes, you guessed it, this panel shows the top ten or so newest boards. If you are really on the hunt for a good bargain, use this panel to ensure you are the first to hear about the latest boards.
If you are tired of wading through search forms on the web, we have built a 'Quick Board Search' function into every menu. It is located at the top right of the main menu and will allow you to search by keyword though all of the boards.

Selling your board or accessory on SellYourBoard.com.au is cheap and easy. There are three types of advertisement options you can choose between depending on your budget and volume; Regular, Featured and Store Account.
Regular Advertisements are the most popular choice for users who want to sell just one board. For a total cost of $10, your board ad will stay live until it is sold* or you wish to remove it. You are free to change ad details and pictures as regularly as you like. You will also have access to Live Ad Statistics, which will show you how often your ad is searched for and how many times users have viewed your ad.
Like the Regular Ad option you have access to ad statistics and are able to update your ad's details as often as you require. The Featured Advertisement provides much more exposure to potential buyers. Featured ads will appear first in search results and will have a coloured background to attract attention. The Feature option will also allow for twice the number of photos than a Regular ad.
The Store Account option is ideal for someone who would like to sell lots of boards or accessories. You get all the facilities available to a Regular Advertisement, however there is no limit to the number of ads you can upload.

Don't worry, nothing is wrong! When you post new advertisements they aren't made live for others to see straight away. This is to ensure that the content you have provided is correct and appropriate. Once you have finished posting your ad, one of our staff will be notified and they will check the information you have supplied.
Once our staff has verified that your ad content is ok, we will send you an email informing you that your ad is now live! This moderation process is a bit annoying we admit, however, it is necessary to ensure that spam and inappropriate content does not reach our users.

Capture Images are designed using strange text and almost unreadable fonts because the website owner is testing if you are human. Sounds strange huh? The theory is that computers can't 'read' the letters in the image but humans can.
There are shady people in the world who write programs to automatically fill out forms on sites like this one. They do this for a number of reasons, either they are trying to send spam, infect users with viruses or the just simply wish to be annoying.
We find these Capture Images quite frustrating sometimes because you simply cannot read them properly. So we devised our own version that just requires you to click on the icon that is requested. So in the case above, the user has clicked on the Bird and the validation is complete.
